Delete your Ewity account
Request permanent deletion of your Ewity account and the personal data associated with it. You can submit the form below or email us — whichever you prefer.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and login credentials
- Contact details (name, email, mobile number)
- Business and store settings linked to your account
- Personal data we hold about you in the Ewity app
What we keep, and why
Some records cannot be deleted immediately because the law requires us to retain them. We keep only the minimum needed, and delete it once the required retention period ends:
- Sales, tax and transaction records we are legally required to keep (e.g. for MIRA / GST and accounting law)
- Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you
- Records we must retain to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
How long it takes
After you submit a request we'll email you to verify your identity, then permanently delete your account and eligible data within 30 days. Records we are legally required to retain are deleted automatically once their retention period expires.
